Just Friends

She was hurt
her world was in black and white
never thought she'd ever see the light

she knew he didn't want her
but still she couldn't see
so she sharpened her knives
she blackened her eyes
and finally she felt peace

she never gave up fighting for what was meant to be
but he was moved on
& still she didn't see
she wanted only him
he was her only one
now that hes gone
her life was so empty

she wouldn't take anything
no bites of food
the only thing she wanted inside of her was the Love of her one true
she felt him running through her veins
she needed his support
because before too long she wasn't worth anything anymore

he was her best friend
her angel from above
he gave her something to wake up for
to smile for, someone to Love
he showed her things she never knew
she put her trust in him
and now she's Broken in two

she'll never forget him
she'll never understand
why he didn't want her
why they had to be just friends.
