White Flowers

by 8infinity8   May 3, 2006

Hazy dreams of sunshine
Summer break nearing
Sitting beneath this very tree

Little white flowers
Each one it's own beauty
None are perfect
But every flaw adds character

No bloom stands alone
It is surrounded by many
Each one however
Could stand alone
Each could project simple love
Could show others hope

The brilliant yellow center
Every flower has a heart of passion
Golden fireworks

Whether a simple bud
Still unopened
Or a robust bloom
Out there for all to see
Both hold a quiet passion

And both feel beautiful

They know their strengths
They know their weaknesses
They know their name
They know what they are

Hazy dreams of sunshine
How I hope my future will be

This is nice, but I feel it could do with some work. Try and make your ideas flow a little better, perhaps making the stanzas of equal length would help.
