I heard you'd broken up with her,
I heard I had a chance.
I thought your song was over,
and it was time for us to dance.

But now I hear thats not it,
I hear that thats not true..
I hear your still happy,
and you and her aren't through.

For one moment I thought,
it was time for you and me.
But your still looking at her,
it's not me you want to see.

I go on pretending,
that I am okay.
