The Music

The beats, the vibe, the vocals, the hissing
They tell you a story if you sit back and listen
The way the world really is if you'd open your eyes
To look and see to finally realize
That most of what they try to teach
Is all a pack of lies!
They try to tell you of what they want you to see
The type of world that is relaxed and carefree
But they have for gotten how they made it to the top
They for got how to care or maybe they just stopped
We as a people live in another world
We live in the gutters
We live in the streets
We hear the world die
With every life beat
I hold on to the little bit of reality, and struggle to not lose it
And block out their lies and get lost in the music.
