Loving You

by Unconformist   May 3, 2006

Loving you is like running
each breath is more painful
as the pressure on my heart
becomes too much to bear
I try to grab your hand
but you're still held back
by the girl you love
and you're out of my reach
each breath is more sharp
my pulse runs so high
my vision is so blurred
dizzyness invades me fast
I'm afraid I might collapse
will you catch me?
she will pull you back
as my head hits the ground
maybe loving you isn't like running
because a race I can win
I'll never win this war
I'll lose to her

*This is my first unrhyming poem! Be brutal if it completely bites!*
