The alcoholic I know as my mother.

by xxLivxx   May 4, 2006

And so she drinks
Her sorrows away
Always hoping for
A better day
Down and down
The liquor goes
And when its gone
Soon more flows
Searching for something
At the end of each glass
Sun up till sun down
As years start to pass
Losing herself
And all feeling inside
In the dark
Is where she hides
The daylight falls
She drinks her sorrows away
Always and forever hoping
For a better day.

I Wish She Would Come Out Of That Bottle...
