Religion

by silent night   May 5, 2006

Christians, Muslims, Hindus were all the same
We all go round killing people like its a game

Name the cause of every war
Do I need to say more
Ill stick a poster on your bedroom door

To make it plain for you its to blame for World War 1 and 2
No need 2 go on, its religion

Its at the heart of every war
The core of the problem
Yet why has no one tried to stop them

They are the cardinals, clerics and priests who incite violence against people just because their from the west or the east

Some people say no religion would leave a hole in there life
Yet because of it i have seen a man lose his head to a knife
Because he was a Christian with an ambition
He was having a crack at making a better life for the people of Iraq

Christians, Muslims, Hindus were all the same
We all go round killing people like it's a game
Name the cause of every war
Do I need to say more
Ill stick a poster on your bedroom door
To make it plain for you its to blame for World War 1 and 2
No need to go on, its religion

In Australia or Dubai
It doesn't matter if you are a girl or a guy
They all expect you to scream "for Allah" and die
Taking innocent lives with you
Who during the younger grades has heard of the crusades
Where Christians took land that was not theirs

Because god gave it to them
They enslaved millions of people
Yet they thought they were the lesser of the two evils
