The Jokes on you

by <3   May 6, 2006

I'm starving for words..
When your around..
I become a trillion bricks..
I just hit the ground..

I try to find myself OK
With the fact we're just friends
But than you grab my hand
And I'm not okay again...

You may not find this alot
It was just one time
When the math teacher asked me
If if I thought you were lying

I said yes, I don't think you did your work
After that, I thought you would talk to me, ask me why...
But you just called me a jerk...

I told you I liked you...
And you said 'you don't know Me
And i said thats true
And you said, No, your not even my friend can't you see

So I gave up trying to get you
I was tired of waiting for that perfect time
Tired of waiting for that perfect moment
That perfect Song in that perfect Rhyme

Than a week later...
You start liking me
For once I was on the other side
The power that was left for all to see...

You asked me out...
And memories flooding back
I got so upset
Just about ready to attack

You looked at me impatiently...
And i replied with a witty remark
Sorry, you don't know me...
And you said I once already stole your heart

And I said yes, this is very true you see
At a time you meant alot to me
But sorry man the jokes on you
You looked at me with sudden surprise
And I said, Your the one going to be thinking of me, every time you close your eyes
