The Willing Love III: The Reply

by Lecadia   May 6, 2006

What is wrong with you?
If you could sit for just a minute
And take the pen or pencil
And just admit it
Why can't you write it down
On paper and with this pencil
I've written my letter
When will you reply?

If only you could care some more
If only you knew me better
I can only stand so much
But to see your face is just enough
To set me off and shed me to tears
And that's the only thing you want to hear
To hear me cry and wash me away
I take my pain and throw it away
Why can't you accept it and just go away
If only I'd have you would I want you to stay?

Don't cry my darling
Sleep tight for now tonight
I'll wake you when the morning comes
If it ever does...

...For you

Now you're the laughing stock
Now I know you're not
What I thought of you

I'll leave this note right on your door
And if you happen to notice it
Please take some time and
Read it aloud

You'll know I'm gone right then and there
Now that I've said it you'll know
That you had done something too wrong
Will you chase after me?
Will you catch me?

I can't help but cackle
At you putrid attempt
I scream in the night,
But you can't run...

I'll wait for you just for tonight
With the blood in my hand
Across the border of my dream
I will lock away my soul
And then you'll see

Now I know I'm gone now
I've taken my oath, I've given my name
Now I'm dead inside my casket
And your question, you've never asked it

Don't cry my darling
Sleep tight for now tonight
I'll wake you when the morning comes
If it ever does for...
I'll leave this note right on your door
And if you happen to notice it
Please take some time and read it aloud
To me, in my endless sleep
This will be the last story I'll hear
But I don't care as long as I hear it from you
I won't cry
