This Poverty filled world (not finished)

by Jordan   May 6, 2006

Look around this world, what do you see?
Poor little children, going hungry.
People just like you and me, living outside on the street.
Nowhere to go, nothing to eat,
poor helpless people, trying to make ends meet.
Who's going to help them? Not you or me,
we're all too selfish, too selfish to see,
the pain that they're going through.
This isn't a dream, this is true.
We're living in a poverty filled world,
just remember this when you're curled,
up in bed, warm and nice,
some old hobos sleeping with the mice.
It isn't funny, its actually sad,
and when people laugh it makes me mad.
Put yourself in their shoes and feel what they feel,
dry stale bread for you're daily meal.
