That Girl who has it All

There is always one girl,
one girl who has it all,
the one with the looks
and the great personality.

The Effortless Achiever.
Says that she's hopeless,
When she knows that she's not
Lines up for the slow heat,
just so she'll look good.

Whatever i can do well,
She can do better.
Unseen Competition.
I know she wants to beat me
And when she does. . .
It's laughed off as a fluke,
But it hurts me inside,
Because it wasn't a race
until she started winning.
It's like the world revolves around her,
At least she acts like that is so.

I'm always average
Or just above,
70s and 80s for school exams,
B Teams for sport
A B+ for music.
I wish there was one thing,
In which i could win,
Or in which I could be
a lot more than just average.

I'm jealous of her
and all the girls like her.
Most days I don't care,
I don't usually mind.
But today it got to me,
And tore me inside.
Because maybe just once,
I'd like to be first.
Where's my Special talent
that we're all supposed to have?

    Hey hun,
    i know how you feel i use to feel the same way.... that was before i got a reality check... just becuase they have more money or are prettyer than i... i am me and that is better than anything... i have my friends and i am greatful for eveyone of them... you should be grateful for what you have and even more grateful for what you don;t because there is a reason you don't have things it is hard to under stand i know but if you think real hard about it you will under stand what i mean... sory this is so long... you poem is great.. keep writeing...

    Very good meaning behind this one. And I bet alot of people can relate. I know I'd like to be first for a change. But keep your head up and you'll get there =]

    Loved the poem though. It had a really great twist to how I thought it will end after reading the title. Keep up the awesome work! 5/5
