I miss the old you

by Rasa   May 8, 2006

I loved you more then i knew i could
Maybe i don't know it as much as i should
I loved you like a brother
Like someone I'd never let go
I didn't care who knew not ever your mother
But I'm sorry i sank that low
Low enough to think that this would last
This whole charade of our love, like relationship
It just seems like it all ended so fast
And if theres a heart for friendship i think i just heard mine rip
She made you a different you
One who wasn't yourself
Without you i would know what to do
I'd feel as useless as a broken doll on a dusty shelf
So now you know how i feel right now
Because that blond girl took my place
That moment i saw u with her i just said wow
As it smacked the smile off my face
I really did love my old best friend
The one who made me laugh
But i guess your jokes were only games that you lend
To girls with self esteem only half
But she has a right
To some of your love
But no one gets it without a fight
Because without you I'm just a lonely dove
I hope he's sweet to you
Unlike she was to me
I hope she'll be good for you
Because i couldn't fill that spot
I'll miss the old you
Because change is seldom good
I hope you'll com back soon
Because i love you more then i knew i could
