Sheltered

Take my hand and hold on tight, because I might fall
Be my guide, don't ever leave me because I might trip
Cover my ears so I can't hear them because I might cry
Carry me through the rough patches because I might slip
Shelter me from the rest of the world because I might scream

I might fall and I might trip, i may cry and on my tears, slip, then I'll scream and hide in bed where I'm safe and sheltered

Shield me from the windows because I might frown
Get rid of the television because I might sin
Don't let me open my mind and sail because I might drown
Never allow boys to compete for my heart because one might win
Stop sheltering me please because I might suffocate

I might look and then I'll frown, be flooded with sinful thoughts and drown. Then I'll die in the bed where I thought I was safe and sheltered.

    Oh this is great too. a very nice read! i really felt that this poem was excellent. i loved how the first paragragh, each line ended with words that were said or i thought about b4.
