Laying Beneath Me

by Kevin   May 9, 2006

This picture looks perfect.
I never noticed the borders around it until someone mentioned them.
I find it so easy to get lost inside of your eyes.
Then I turn away from the picture, I no longer see you.
Their is a warm yet sad feeling surround me, you must be near.
I cannot hear, see, nor feel you.
I sense your presence, where are you.
I cannot believe you are gone, I cannot understand where you are.
Until each time that I look at the stone carvings above the flowers.
Then I feel you beneath me, as I see your name carved into the stone.
