In Bethlehem And Home

by David R Merry   May 9, 2006

From the skies, the snow will fall!
A splendid summer, finished now!
From the earth, the mist will rise!
Upon us soon, Christmas calls!

Whilst every mortal, counting down!
The remaining weeks, until the day!
For soon, the festive food and wine!
Highlights the toys, and children's play!

And Christmas mass, will gather many!
Around the world, joint in prayer!
In ancient times, the Christ is born!
Still here today, to spread his cheer?

So do? Or not? you may believe!
I`m sure you do take part?
Spare a thought, this "Holy Man"
Who`s Birth date, saw the start!

And matter not, if snow not comes?
In our heart`s we`ll know?
The celebrations carry on!
