Dread Wolf

by David R Merry   Jun 25, 2006

First there was the lantern, crystals in the night!
Gazing from your window, oak tree, lit by the moonlight!
Drawn toward the coloured lights, Dread Wolf by my side!
On my mind the blue crystal, we stared up at the skies!

Why? Dread Wolf is crying!
Why? See his tears drying!
Why? Judged by his skin-tone!
Running Lions! Reggae is his Babylon!

When the light returned, black rainbows cross the sky!
Full eclipse has ended! Prophesies, release your mind!
Drawn toward the coloured lights, Dread Wolf by my side!
On my mind the blue crystal, we stared up at the skies!

Standing by his emperor, Haile Selassie the 1st!
Lighting up his alter, turns and shouts \"Rastafiri\"
Drawn toward the coloured lights, Dread Wolf by my side!
On my mind the blue crystal, we stared up at the skies!

Why? Dread Wolf is crying!
Why? See his tears drying!
Why? Judged by his skin-tone!
Running Lions! Reggae is his Babylon!
