Portuguese Tide

by Simon Hayes   May 9, 2006

Underneath a scarlet sky.
A warm, delightful evening.
Ocean waves say goodbye,
As the day is swiftly leaving.
The golden moonlight is nigh.
The sand is quietly grieving.

Sun fades out across the sea,
Where boats and ships reside.
Soft ocean splashes begin to flee,
Take off and go to hide.
Spirit of the waves released and free,
This beautiful Portuguese tide.

Underneath a scarlet sky,
This beautiful Portuguese tide.
