A child's small cry

by IfIhide11   May 9, 2006

A child's small cry
your hideous disguise
the way you hide yourself
from the world
and the pain that was Left behind
like a rose
it's beauty draws you to it
and it stabs you with it's thorns
but you can't put it down
But eventually you have to
you throw it down and look away
you don't look back, not even
once
But now it's my turn
Now I confront you about your lies
Take off that hideous disguise and
I throw you on the ground
and listen to you cry.
