Ugly scars on beautiful bodies

by Kevin Fitz   May 11, 2006

Ugly scars on beautiful bodies

the reflection portrayed before me lies
through these eyes that long to despise
everything they get a chance to view
they hate who i am, they hate you

blade to skin
bleed the darkest sin
skin to blade
sing me my last serenade

when who i am hates who i see
in this image that reflects so ugly
tears turn to blood, the blood turns to hate
upon these unhealthy hands that hold my fate

all reasoning is void
my temple will be destroyed
with my every hope to die
once my body is bled dry

blade to skin
bleed the darkest sin
skin to blade
sing me my last serenade.
