A thousand scars
from a rusty blade
attempted suicides
never made
forgotten love
and words of hate
a word called sorry
that comes too late
memories of those
quick to depart
lost lovers
and hardened hearts
inflicted cuts
and long sleeves
a terrible feeling
that never leaves....
