Eyes fogged out
stuck inside a daze
stuck in a dream awake
thoughts drowning
in a dried river
pull me out and stand me up right
take a needle
stab and poke at my heart
blind to purpose and reason
attacked on the outside
still stuck within
hourglass emptying
time moves quick within
slowly outside
size up the possibilities
pull out the past
forcing me to answer
placing both worlds
on each shoulder
asking questions
to the satisfied
a puzzle with no pattern
to picture forms
you are just taking it apart
trying to put it together
sound now closed off
now all leaks red
the puddle now visible
questioning eyes
now full of fire
forgotten reasons
weakness is now revealed
purpose is now changed
burn down this bridge
arrogance assumed
pick at all columns
take down this city
all left in ruins
blood covers the ground
filling the rivers
sound now interjects
bouncing back
in echos
all is cold
all is dark
all is left
i fell to my knees
