Alone

by Diabolic Atrocity   May 11, 2006

Sun, moon, celestial orbit
Dead, lifeless, oh so morbid
Moving slowly, so very grey
These things we call planets so far away
Some have things that others do no
So big and beautiful I get lost in thought
I forget my problems for a while
The only thing that still makes me smile
So many problems, so many dreams
All crushed so bad they're causing screams

My love has left me all alone
My heart is now a heart of stone
My life is crumbling before my eyes
My head overflows with all your lies
My time is spent wondering why
My emotions always made me cry
My hope is fading pretty quick
My health is slipping, I'm really sick
I hope it will all end, sometime soon
So I can be all alone, just like the moon

This was well written. Your message was very clear, and I liked the imagery and metaphor of the solar system. Keep it up!
