On Paper

All down on paper
I jot it down
Out of my body
Away from my soul
I keep it away
To keep me in control
The pain it could cause
The fear it could bring
Oh how much it makes
my ears sting
As I write it all down
With a pencil or pen
But then I know it will
never go away
As I write it
All down on paper
I jot it down
So it doesn't have to
stay around

    Great observation. I noticed the same thing, you can't say it outloud, so you write it down. But what effect does writting have? People always say to write it down, but nothing is really occomplished..
