My same mistake

I thought I put you out of my mind
I thought I forget every thing about you
But why my mind is full of you again?

I thought I have such a cold heart
I thought I can’t hear my heartbeats
But why my heart is pumping so fast again?

I think I like you a lot
I think I love you more than ever
But why didn’t I realize it earlier again?

    I think this is a good start but you have some mistakes with tenses in there. I don't want to rewrite your poem for you, but if you want me to give more improvement suggestions, just let me know.
    Sometimes you don't know what is there until it's gone, and sometimes you're just too late, I agree. Well done.
