Listen To Me

by Sora, The Lonely Poet   May 12, 2006

I'm sick
And I'm tired
Of everyone ignoring me!
Can't you listen please
It's a part of me!
I have such wonderful stories to tell
But nobody will listen
Not even my best friend.
She's more absorbed in everything else.
Now I'm all alone at home.
And there's nothing that you can do.
I'm thinking....
Thinking of how I thought i would never want to die.
Never.
Now I'm reconsidering that thought.
Now It's like I'm in a drought.
A drought of fear. A drought of annoyance.
Nobody else will see.
Just what will happen to me.
And now I say it anyway.

At the End of the Day.
I will be dead.
And it fills me with dread.
But I'll be able to sleep.
