Suicide Prevention

by Artemis   May 12, 2006

A girl was just sitting there,
You could see her blank stare.
All the sudden she sighed,
For it turned out she was thinking of suicide.
She was teased at school,
And labeled un-cool.
She didn't tell anyone how she was feeling,
The truth she kept resealing.
Her friends didn't want to talk to her,
They all just talked about her in a murmur.
How this girl they hated,
And she never did anything, just let herself be dominated.
She went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife,
Because she has the thought of taking her life.
She went back to room and got a pen,
For now she had a message to send.
She started to write a note goodbye,
But suddenly stopped and realized she didn't want to die.
Instead she wrote a poem about it,
And it slowly got longer, bit-by-bit.
At the end she wrote,
in a very short quote,
"Suicide should never be a thought,
For life is worth it as long as bad stuff is always fought."
