I Never Knew

He was the nicest person that I knew,
I know if I asked, you would know too.
He shouldn't have payed,
But God took him away.
No one will ever know
I didn't want him to ever go.
Everyday I think of him,
There was no way I could win.
I never knew I'd miss him so,
Although I think I know he had to go
