Raindrops

Let me dream,
Dream of you tonight.
Under the starry sky,
Watching you without a sight.

Watching you wish for something more,
Wishing for that void to be filled.
Watching over you,
Wishing you watched over me too,
I stand alone.

The sky falls upon us,
Raining down our past,
Raining down our future,
Pulling us the present.

My heart beats in time,
In time with every drop that hits the ground.
...When I see you.
Only when I see you.

These raindrops of you fill my void,
A part of you, A part of me.
Raindrops, filling my world.
Raindrops, flowing within me.

    Wow. I really liked this one...I've felt this way before. I don't remember in great detail, but it definitely did spark a few memories.
    My favorite stanza would have to be:
    "My heart beats in time,
    In time with every drop that hits the ground.
    ...When I see you.
    Only when I see you."

    The last stanza was as well amazing, but the one I selected was my most favorite, because I've felt this way before...a lot, and I remember it. Very well done, I think it's my new favorite...but I am undecided. Take care, dear.
