Touch of sun

by Anne   May 14, 2006

Sunshine upon my face
wakens me by a sweet embrace
your fingertips touching my lips,,
wanting to always stay like this..

it's perfection in my mind
so serene, so kind
but then the expectable took place,
with my dream, went your gentle embrace

quietly opened my eyes again
so daylight could reveal the truth in pain
without a touch of sun, without You
only a vague memory shimmering trough

forcing me to realise; this was just an illusion
your appearance caused all of my confusion
but they say; time heals everything
So my mind's better off, never seeing you again
