Without You

by Poetess Lana   May 14, 2006

Without you, I bleed sorrow,
and my life is dead. My heart
cries for your love, which you
give to another.

With just me, I cry in despair,
and I want you to want me. My
soul cries for your heart,
which you trust with another.

Without you, the us I need
will never be, and I need your
love. My life cries for attention
and adoration, but you do
not see.

Your eyes are open to another,
giving me no life to love, or to
live. Your smile makes me weak,
and I smile, knowing you will never
be mine.

Your smile is for another, who loves you less than I, but still worships you as the god you deserve to be treated as.
