You'll Never Realize

by Melissa   May 15, 2006

Dad,

I sit and think about you,
How I believed all you told me was true.
I came to realize,
You told me so many lies.
Every lie hurt more & more,
Finally you walked out the door.
Did you not even think how it made me feel,
I got the rotten end of the deal.
Wishing you were there,
To show "how much you care."
I need your help with stuff
When things get rough.
You may not physically be gone
But Dad, you are so withdrawn.
Speak please! You say nothing at all,
Again I sit starring at this blank wall.
Maybe one day,
Everything will be okay.
Someday you might see,
Just how very much you meant to me.
