Adam's Poem

It's all going too fast,
Suddenly you're gone,
Nobody can understand,
Because it's all felt so wrong.

We're all so upset,
What are we supposed to do?
Staring into space,
Lost in thoughts of you.

It hurts so much,
It's cutting us up inside,
But with our warm face,
We mask the pain we hide.

We're holding in our tears,
Trying to push the world away,
We all sit in silence,
Because we don't know what to say.

We're trapped in reality,
We can't just walk from this,
We're comfprting each other,
Talking about what we miss.

We're thinking back,
Trying to think ahead,
And when we try to laugh,
We end up crying instead.

It's all so different,
So quiet and cold,
Your chair now sits empty,
The apologizes are growing old.

Our world is spinning,
Tears are being cried,
We can't go back now,
We couldn't if we tried.

And it's all going too fast,
The atmospere feels wrong,
Everything has stopped,
And suddenly you're gone.
