The Worst Friend I Ever Had

by Raychil   May 16, 2006

You used to be a good friend
I thought I could tell you every thing
I wasn't expecting this sudden end
I wasn't expecting the pain you'd bring

It hit me hard when I heard it
I was skeptical at first
But I realized you didn't care one bit
It was just your lusty thirst

But cheating on him was just the start
There was more to come for me
But I had to tell him that part
The truth, he deserved to see

After that I felt regret
But a better friend filled me in
This is something I won't forget
Forgetting this would be a sin

Every secret you ever knew
Had already been spilled
Even before I fought with you
My reputation was already killed

Even stuff I never did or said
You told the world it was true
All my trust was shred
And at first you made me feel bad for you

But I don't feel sorry anymore
You not worth one tear I shed
You're lower than the dirt on the floor
And to me you're already dead

You can't control me any more
But I don't think you ever could
My anger tells me to even the score
Lucky for you, my conscience is too good.

* This is for a friend I had, who I thought I could trust, and she ended up back-stabbing me and everyone around her (even her boyfriend who still doesn't believe it). This is for all those people who have trusted someone and then got betrayed to a point they don't think they could ever forgive them. This is for the people who aren't going to get walked over anymore..

I love it. You can just feel the emotion coming out of it... and I could tell it was a true-life expereince by that. It flowed smoothly and the rhymes were just perfect! Good topic though, I mean so many people go through back-stabbing, and there sometimes is nothing you can do when no one will believe you.

(Psst. I'm adding you to my favorites, I love all your poems. You're so talented!)
