Pain Release

by Kaley   May 17, 2006

I've messed everything up,
But I tried so hard not to,
It happened, and I couldn't stop it,
I tried to do what was right,
But the future was out of sight,
i'm told everything will work out,
Everytime it all seems perfect,
I get nervous,
And end up messing it up,
Continuing to try and fix it,
Messes it up more,
The blade moves the pain,
The drink blurs it all,
The smoke makes it all funny,
The grass makes it fade away,
Just to run until there is no street,
Run through the grass until I know I'm safe,
Finding a place that remains untouched,
not marked, seen, or heard,
A spot for only me to fill,
Where the rain will come,
To drain my pain,
As the red seeps into the ground,
Soaks into the roots of the mighty tree,
Until all is gone, there is no more,
And I will finnally be set free...
