Why can’t I sleep at night?
Time can only tell why I’m still hooked on you.
I know I need to move on, but I just can’t.
I still feel your touch at night.
Your arm around me as I sleep.
I can still smell your sweet sent.
I can still see your wonderful smile,
That made me weak at the knees every time.
I can still hear you whisper, I Love You;
As we hold each other in a passionate kiss.
I still feel your breath on the nape of my neck,
When you would kiss it ever so gently.
I will always hold you in my heart,
Because I know its all my fault.
If I had not been so wrong.
Your love for me would still be strong.
So as I sit and write this all down,
I hear the sound of my heart crying out for you.
And I just fall apart, and cry so hard.
I hope to hold you in my arms.
But this will probably never happen.
