Now this is a friendship poem! It painted a really calm picture so vivid and clear that I wonder what gave you inspiration to write this. Nothing felt forced and seemed right out of a story book or even a photo album when you got to the part about turning pages carefully. You really are a gifted writer, trust me if you read some of my comments it's rare if I call someone that. I've read some of your poems and each one is just wonderful but this one has to be one of your best. A true delight to read.

The use of imagery was exquisite, delicate and beautiful, this poem almost has a dream-like quality to it. Everything seemed so natural and unforced. I can't say I found the poem especially relatable, but having said that it certainly put me in mind of someone looking back...so the love of for one's childhood? Great write, a pleasure to read 5/5 x

I enjoyed reading your poem. I feel as if I've been to that place, felt the wind on my face. It's a love of nature, of the earth, of the simple things in life.

Wow, that painted some pretty vivd pivtures in my mind. It made me think of a childs love, for nothing in particular, just the love that innocence breeds. Great job on the poem, please continue writing!

I loved this poem, the images were so light and calm, it seemed to portray a love of nature and family but then this line
" As I turned the dusty pages carefully"
Makes me believe this shows a love of books, or the person is reading an old diary and is remembering the love of their childhood.
Many interpretations to this wonderful poem and that makes it exciting!
