Behind the Mask

I am a person with no face,
I hide behind a mask of secrets
My life to me has nothing to live for

A shadow is what I want to be
Hide behind a fake smile, so no one
can see the wounds i suffer from

A heart forever breaking
And a broken Soul
Leaves a sea of troubles
Never to be mend
Nothing can keep me going in a life
Without a light.

Darkness rolls in as the red waterfall
Starts Flowing...
No one knew my pain
And no one could see my tears
For my mask hid all
Until that faithful Night when I decided
to let it all Fall

A vision came to me, the only one I wanted to see...
A life with no pain
No tears
and no breaking heart
So it was clear to me
That I had to Leave

With the Silence of a room and a note to say good-bye
It was time to let go
Forget the pain and the heartache
and with a slice of the knife
A soul was left forgotten
