Set Her Free

by Erica   May 19, 2006

I thought that what I did was right
I patched it up and stitched it tight
All her secrets, locked away
Hidden from the light of day
As light fell short, the nights grew long
I realized what I did was wrong
Drowning in the blood and sin
I was dying right beneath my skin
If the one who trapped her here is me
Then only I can set her free
