Butterfly of Death

by BittersweetDecay   May 19, 2006

Those branches have thorn my red dress
And made my scratched feet bleed softly
As I was walking with this pain in my chest
Spread was the fear...the wind blowed coldly

The rain starts to fall washing all sins
I kneel in that puddle of mud so deep
And i cry over that lost beauty within
Love..hate..grief..have all made me weak...

From nowhere a black butterfly arose
Batting his wings on my trembling lips
He looked so pure as he flied so close
Reading in my tormented eyes the sorrow\'s kiss...

\"Come and let me heal ur long-lasting pain
He whispered smooth while he continued to say
\"So that blood will be again thick in ur vein\"
I followed his fragile body...getting too far away

The middle of the woods was to me so mischievous
Flying being...his voice made me asunder
His energy became devilish and mysterious
As i felt this moving branches pulling me under

My desperate nails rammed in the filthy ground
While the butterfly witnessed my dying time
I screamed so hard...yet i couldn\'t make a sound
This sufferance he throw on me was the cruelest crime

\"Please don\'t drain this life from me
I can still make this vibrating wounds heal\"
\"U shall never be the one u used to be
The soul u possess is not able to feel

The forest swallowed me in that tragic night
I died strangulated by my own feelings and scars
Beware cause the Butterfly of Death can conquer ur sight
Reflecting in his dark wings the fallen stars...
