A Sip of Hapiness

A Sip of Hapiness

Sip the mug and show a smile,
Complex mind and simple life,
We're all determined, we'll walk that mile,
We'll sculpt it out with a butter knife,

That's what we think, that's what we say,
And try and try to figure out,
It's up to us to self decorate,
And that's what life is all about,

It's more than money, guns, and toys,
It's more than jobs and homes and drugs,
It's all about what we all avoid,
Ridding the tension that's sick and void,

The friends we have and whom we love,
The ability to look past their faults,
Nature's here, and birds and doves,
We all regret once we're aldults,

To feel the breeze and live in bliss,
To enjoy what's here and near and far,
To sit and sip in hapiness,
Exceeds what we desire by far.
