What You saw all along

In the beginning nobody could see
I even doubted Your presence in me

People didn't think I was worth it
I couldn't found I group where I fit

I didn't believe in who I am
I'd do things cause I can

It wasn't who I was supposed to be
I was so awfully I thought You didn't love me

I thought you were like the rest
You thought of me as a pest

I didn't give you a go
Thinking You would never sink so low

I wouldn't let You in
I just said no because of my sin

I was ready to give in
When someone said I can always be forgiven

At first I was like "what?"
I didn't want to come out of my rut

But You me someone to show
Your love and mercy glow

It's now I realize that through it all
You never let me fall

That all along
I was oh so wrong

Not everyone is the same
Some are made to ease the pain

Jesus did that for me
It just shows how special I must be

Because all along you believed
In the beauty inside of me
