Release

There will never be a time,
when all should stand still,
so get used to the rush here,
I know someday you will.

As our lives rush past our faces,
and we stand there just in awe,
perhaps if we stand back and see,
we will then yet know what we saw.

And if we know why we\'ve stopped,
and then we see what is there,
perhaps and maybe we will know,
just what our lives were.

As I stand here before you today,
and I notice our release,
maybe after sometime I cry,
Our pain will finally cease.
