I need to stop lying to myself
I need to open up my eyes
I need to forget how I felt
when I was served all the lies
I need to not remember
I need to move on
all this life of splendor
may soon all be gone
happiness wont last forever
soon I will fall
thinking I will smile never
that ain't happening at all
my life is a roller coaster
although im not the only one
to feel the need to be held closer
when life has lost its fun

the times of pain and sorrow
but im not living in regret
