Autumn

by ..:::Sweet Poetry Woman:::...   May 20, 2006

Where the leaves would awaken from a long deep sleep.

to one day breath again.

The leaves would change to signify that they were delighted to see us.

The people of this world would gaze upon the beauty of a new organism.

The trees would be so delighted to feel the coolness of a bunch of leaves.

Through there vines, branches, and roots.

People watched as the leaves on the trees went through photosynthesis.

The sun would shine through the leaves on a tree making

them reflect such a beautiful mirror like a kaleidoscope .

People would jump for joy as I walked pass the orange, and red leaves.

The wind would blow my way telling me “ The leaves are a part of us”

I never knew what that met, Until that day.

That day when my heart watched as a tree was cut down.

When they continued to cut the tree I cried.

I cried because when I was a little girl, that tree remembered every moment I grew up.

I would sleep in a part of the tree that was like a cradle made for me.

As the sunlight would reflect off my face, someone said “ Sleep! Sleep in my creation”!

I never knew who or what said that, That was until I turned fifteen.

It was the heavens above telling me about there creations.

But deep down in my heart autumn of the leaves and the trees,

Will live forever and eternally.
