The Lotus

by Nogias   May 20, 2006

On the stem of a Lotus flower
Buddha's hand grasps hard.
Upon release is a trail of petal tears.
No matter how beautiful the lotus,
It is still a petty flower.
No matter how pure and lovely
The lotus grows
It is still a simple plant.
