Eyes that have cried a million tears

by Matt   May 20, 2006

Circle around the park, joining hands in silence
Watch the evil black sky.
The storm like evil that ripped out my heart,
Couldn't help, just made me cry.
Eyes that have cried a million tears
Once hidden behind a mask of pretend
Fearing to reveal the truth behind me
Emotions many wouldn't comprehend.
A face that has turned from a thousand scars
Now in a state of sadness and woe.
The life we lead is one of pain
Of hate, hurt, loss and sorrow.
You continue on this course of harm
Personal injustice you take on the chin.
The pain you cause others doesn't cross your mind,
Just makes our hearts grow thin.
You use your body in disdain for the system,
I see you take another drag.
One life bends over to kiss the hag,
I see you take another drag.
