Vampire Life

by Callisto   May 21, 2006

My senses grow stronger, throughout each day

My wounds have healed though no medicine has been laid

My eyes become silver, the pupils sometimes gold

And my strength increasing as my creator foretold

I have the desire to kill, to taste blood in my mouth

Yet the thought of drinking it drives me insane from the north to the south

I come out during the night when the moon is full.

I avoid the sun, as pale my skin it burns so painful

In this time of the night I beckon followers to come to me

I sing so softly,

I make creations of my own, my darlings of the night

My hair grows long, silver and gray the color of snow the color of light

My life is turned upside down though am right side up. My soul as hot as a dragons flame as I found out what I had became

Though all this time, my friends didnâ??t know,

Though all this time my family loved a foe

But no one knew my dark secret

Who I really am??

I lost myself years ago, I remember me trying to run, the door a jamb

Now I feel no hunger, no exhaustion nor fear.

Everything I loved is now gone as I cry for them my master gives only a sneer

Years still go by and I remain who I am.....
