Raw Passion

by Shaylee   May 22, 2006

How is it that the passionate hearts of lovers,
mimick the roaring of the seas, the crashing of each wave
The glorious sight of a sunset
with erotic reds and yellow lust
reflecting life and helpless lovers
which every instinct craves
in life, as in love, each as passionate
each as sacred
Ones holy and untouchable, indestructable
desire of emotions
When beings lust for the raw feelings
of the wild
Uncivilised you say, but of true and fresh passion
Elements of our sex, our love
Our most human of devotions

Vivid! Great word usage, and I love the fact that you don't tie yourself down to rhyming to try to pull this off - so many people do, and sometimes forcing a rhyme can ruin a perfectly good poem. You have some great imagery here, I love it.
