Unbreak My Heart

by Simon Hayes   May 22, 2006

Dry this tear,
Ease this pain
Make me feel
Whole again

Scrutinise my heart,
Examine my soul
Mend the pieces
That once were whole

Seal this wound,
That's left me scarred
Freeze the misery,
That's left me charred

Before you go,
Before we part
I'm asking you;
Unbreak my heart!

    Dear Simon,
a wonderful poem with much more intensity in language than I could have said it. The 2nd stanza is my fave one because of its dedication to the magical healing power of love.
It kind of reminded me of that same called song by Toni Braxton.

    Lots of love to you
    Sabine
