How Neptune Snagged a Passing Moon (lyrics)

by LostHopesCrimsonTears   May 22, 2006

***OK, did this for a writing assignment, I had to use a headline as a song title, and well i made a mistake...I used "Europa" as the moon, but I remembered something...
Europa is one of Jupiter's moons, not Neptune's,
so forgive me for that lol..
I would have changed it, but I thought Europa fits better lol.***
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

One lonely day Europa
Was passin' along on by
Movin' along on her merry way
Right on Orbit, right on time.

But this time something was different
Neptune's patience was running low
Enraged by this encroachment of his territory
Europa would have to go.

How Neptune snagged a passing moon
To this day still is not clear.
But ever since poor Europa vanished
The other moons have all filled with fear.

Some say Neptune pulled her in
And frozen, she shattered on impact.
Others say Neptune simply let her go
But the experts arnt so sure about that.

Some claim to have seen Europa
Floatin' around in space
But many claim its just her spirit
Haunted by disgrace.

It was just like every other day
But Neptune's patience were running low
Enraged by this encroachment of his territory
Europa would have to go.

How Neptune snagged a passing moon
To this day still is not clear.
But ever since poor Europa vanished
The other moons have all filled with fear.
